UNDERSTAND YOUR NEED TO ALIGN WITH HIS WAYS
Our motives, focus and priorities play a major part in our receiving consistently from God. Our needs become our avenue to come into harmony with God. Our priority should be His Kingdom.

Matthew 6: 33 - But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Put God first, place a higher value on the spiritual side of life. Our motive should be our love for God and His people. Faith works by love. Love is unconditional acceptance and divine confrontation. Love is a commandment not a suggestion or advice. Check your motives! Are you walking in strife, un-forgiveness or bitterness? Release yourself from these by repenting and forgiving others. Your focus should be Jesus Christ.

Hebrews 12: 2 - Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Our goal is to reflect His nature and power. The more you see Him the more you are transformed to be like Him.

1 John 3: 2-3
2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

God’s Kingdom is a spiritual kingdom. This kingdom is to be built in our hearts as we align ourselves with kingdom principles. We check our inner attitudes, motives and focus. Are we God God-focused, kingdom-minded or earth-bound in our quest for things in this life? Are we compromising God’s values, standards and methods for our needs? Many pursue things and miss God. God should be our main pursuit. His presence is the greatest solution to all our needs. Therefore His presence is our greatest need. Let the peace of God act as an umpire in your heart. Do not walk in things that your heart condemns you in! Why you do what you do is more important than what you do. Are my motives in line with God’s method and ways? Alignment with God calls for real sincerity before Him.
